Flute Instructor
An eminent flutist, practicing the art for more than three decades, Shree Giridhar Dodderi, the grandson of famous Kannada writer and novelist Shree Dodderi Venkatagiri Rao. He first started his lessons on the harmonium three years. He later learned to play bansuri under Shree Naveen Sharma for seven years after which he learned under Pt. Venkatesh Godkindi for the next fifteen years, mastering the art of playing as well as the making of the flute. He also taught the art to over 250 students across India for over 12 years at Madhuvanthi Gurukul. Shree Giridhara Dodderi has completed Vidharadha Purna from Gandharva Mahavidhyalaya Pune.
He is also well versed in sketching, drawing, and painting and always has a few card tricks up his sleeve. No, literally – he is fond of magic and illusions and loves solving puzzles and has taught them to many and helped them in problem-solving techniques as well.

Meet Our
Tabla Instructor
Harsha R is an expert in the Percussion instrument, passionately practicing his skills as a Tabla artist/player for over 15 years now. In all these years, he has invested undivided attention towards the instrument, to observe, learn, and understand the subtle nuances, as well as skills required to ascend and ascertain his craftmanship with the Tabla Instrument.
Being a disciple of Kiran Godkhindi, Harsha R has been at his best to continue with the Guru-Shishya parampara, that he imbibed during his learning days, where he is now more eager than ever before, to share his insights about various aspects of the instrument, music, and other related subjects. And thus, he’s all the more excited and looking forward to teaching, as well practice Hindustani Classical music, in schools, institutes as well as online classes, to cover a vast set of modes and mediums.
Blessed with keen hand-eye coordination, Harsha R got introduced to Tabla at the tender age of 10, when he accompanied his uncle for theatre shows, stage performances, musical events, and other extravaganza events that invoked a festive atmosphere. His performances are greatly influenced by folk art that has inspired him the most, since his childhood.

- Honed the skills under the tutelage of Kiran Godkhindi Sir, for over a decade and a half.
- Completed ‘Visharada’ examination from Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, Mumbai.
- Co-partnering a school “Madhuvanthi Gurukul”, that specializes in Tabla and Bansuri (Flute). This indigenous school caters to all age groups
- As a percussionist, have accompanied students, participants, events, and performance show on Hindustani Classical music, Kathak, and ballet dance.
- Workshops on Tabla are being conducted on a regular basis in and around Bangalore city.
- Gifted with patience and perseverance, as well as the passion to pass over the knowledge, teaching comes naturally, especially with kids and the younger generation.
- Believes he can instill basic, fundamental concepts of Indian classical music to all age groups; using creative approaches and ensuring learning music is a fun activity.
- Has handled sound engineering techniques and studio recordings and is comfortable working with various equipment, for stage shows, individual and group recordings, performances, musical events, etc.
With a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Harsha is proficient in English, Kannada, and Hindi languages for communication and teaching music. He is currently taking up teaching opportunities within the city of Bangalore (Offline) and pan-India (online).
